Services to Member Homes:

  • Assessment and development of a safe living environment for the visually impaired
  • Ongoing staff orientation, education and training
  • Special consultations as needed by phone or in person

Client Services:

  • One on one consultation and assessment
  • Individualized rehabilitation, orientation and mobility training
  • Access to low vision aids and appliances with usage training
  • Peer and support group services for clients and their families

Services to the Community:

  • A residential setting that specializes in accommodating older adults with vision loss
  • Connection to resources, referrals and current information
  • Access to vision aids and appliances and other assistive technology
  • Consultation services

Welcome Homes Residential Services is the premier provider of training and educational programs,
services and resources to residential communities to improve the quality of life for the visually impaired.
